Hey Riffraff, everyone has the right to their opinion and I respect that 100%. I do not, however, think it is fair to members when they are being insulted in a public forum. I edited several posts in that thread before i closed it. You may not have read what some members were actually saying, but I am sure you would have agreed with me if you did. Anyway, I feel I did the right thing by closing the thread. Constructive criticism is excellent but sometimes people get sidetracked or led into a different discussion. For example, I got a PM from a member on this forum. They thought I was pissed off at them because they asked a question about one of my statements in a thread and I replied and added a smilie with it. If this member would have been able to hear my voice or see my face they would have known I was kidding and just being my silly joking self. They took my response the wrong way and that is just how the digital playground works. My point is, we should all be able to say how we feel and what we want or like but we have to also respect one another. I know you'll agree with that.
And about the dieing and putting the fire out........ Coolman once told me that when I die, they are sending me to hell. I just smiled at him and said, "If they send me to hell I'll put it out"

I don't like the Hidden feature because it's a form of forced worship. Push the button to worship me before I answer your prayer.

Like the many laws in the world that forces us to worship government the way they want us to worship them, it's difficult to come here, to find the same thing in yet another disguise.

Sure we have a choice now, but it won't be long before someone has yet another "brilliant" idea...

Like...say thanks by scanning your fingerprint or use the Lenovo Facial Recognition software to scan your face to say thanks to see pron.

And that is indeed the plan for the future with Internet II. Total control. What to use the internet, scan your finger or your face.

Don't accept this form of "Mind Pattern Programming".

Alright, although it's a little paranoid you are right somehow. I lurk and I don't think it's lame at all. Cause if I like a post I thank for it and I reply on it. Just for the respect and appreciation. And if I don't like a post of a chubby fat piggy toe I will not thank for it but I also will keep my mouth shut. Just to be not desrespecting to the poster.
Now this nice lil feature has what kind of effect? A lot of useless forced replies. Most of them are not worth reading. Can a poster really be proud of a quantity of replies now? No! This is called inflation.

So some of the posters want to only post pics in the contributor's lounge for now on. Well, this is a free open forum. If you want to found a closed insider secret circle, go on. Keep the open forum "hide" free. It's like a new start. Or you could just make this a pay site. I swear you will get honest replies from people who have never posted anything but paid for seeing your pics. But I'm not sure how you can handle it when those "legal" lurkers will not thank you or not reply or tell you that your pictures suck. What then? Will you start to force pay members to reply?

My summery...

I have try both, to post with and without hide function. All I can say is, ALL hidden posts making an high activity on this board. So new posts and also very old posts.
New unhidden posts move in a few hours to site 2 or 3.
My last post, with lots of hard work to make a video have just 433 views, 12 replys and 25 thanks. But the big file was downloaded now 131 times.
As contrast, my post with only ONE bad, but hidden picture have 724 thanks and 98 replys. Again... ONE picture.
Ok, lots of thanks, grtrgt or let's see posts says NOTHING about the pics or videos, but 12 replys of an hard work post... that's a shame and I think I lost my lust to post and it was my last video post here.

That's no whining, thats my summery!!

we should be able to post how we want nobody forces you to click thanks and see the post i dont use the hide feature i just post all my hq pics in the members lounge thats my choice and if i feel like posting hq outside the members lounge again there my pics so its my choice, before the hide feature a lot of us including you riffraff was fed up with leechers the hide feature is a nice exercise to those who dont know where the thanks button is .this feature by no means stops leechers but it makes it more of an effort for them MY POST MY CHOICE
