with your original point of this thread-i agree 100%-i dont think that non-contributing members should advance in the ranks just cuz they've been members for a year or 2 or 3-
sometimes i'll look at the # of veiws on MY posts-and compare it to the # of thanks-and yes it pisses me off sometimes-but i keep posting for the TRUE members of this great forum--SO we go back to your SPLENDID idea of an ELITE section-which i think ROCKS!!!!

Good idea, why not have an elite section.

I am definately supporting the idea of a section that's harder to get in than the Contributor's lounge, if the elite members are actively using it.

I'll set it up during the next days so we can give it a test run
