Pop-ups in posts?

What is with these posts that have the pop-ups to other sites? Several posts I've looked at were just links to other sites or when you clicked on the picture you also got a pop-up from "adult friend finder" or a similar site.

A: get Firefox.....popups are seriously minimized....and
B:....the popups help with paying the server bills here....

Most Image Hosts like imagebam, imagevenue and others are using popups to cover their costs.

Usually they're shown just once per day and host.

We're always looking for popup-free alternatives though. If you know any popup-free image host, please let us know!

That's not correct. We do have banners from Adultfriendfinder, but we're not getting anything from popups because they're not ours. As stated above: They're from the image hosts.

As for free imagehosts without popups.....I don't think there are any....not that i know of anyway, but then again, i use firefox and dont get many popups and if i do, they get blocked

The ones that have the popups need to support themselves somehow.....
