Just put the youtube ID string inside the (youtube)(/youtube) tag - with square brackets.

I did!

@ youtube, where it says "Share" icopied that code into the post, but the vid didnt show up.


I will try copying from the address bar, or is that what you meant?

Use only the code that's after the v=

Example:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cu-HlYbnCvY

you extract: cu-HlYbnCvY

and put only this part in between the youtube tags

Here's some background information:

?v=cu-HlYbnCvY&feature=ll_lolz&playnext=1&list=LLJgl92r_ TIZ4

The url contains different variable bindings, in this case

v=cu-HlYbnCvY
feature=ll_lolz
playnext=1
list=LLJgl92r_TIZ4

the character ? starts the whole sequence, the character "&" separates the variables and their values

v is the only important variable in this case. v gets the ID number that identifies the video. We only need that ID number.


So, just remember to use only the part that follows v=

..highlighted in green here:

...?v=cu-HlYbnCvY&feature=ll_lolz&playnext=1&list=LLJgl92r_TIZ4

I now realize that in the past I might have done it that way, but now realize i am suffering from "Brain-Drain" rotf
